Már voltunk párszor kerékpáros túrán, és ez volt talán a legjobb. Az idegenvezetőnk kiemelkedő volt, és a kerékpáros társaink is nagyszerű emberek voltak. Igazi ízelítőt kaptunk a vietnami életből. Sok érdekes étel. Az ételek finomak és bőségesek voltak. Azt hittük, fogyni fogunk, de nem! Jó szállodák. Sok látnivaló volt, de néhányat kiemelnék: a Bálna-szigetet és Hoi An-t, a 30 km-es izgalmas lejtmenetet és a belvárosi forgalomban való kerékpározást...... nagyszerű móka, de hevesen ver a szíved. Elég tele van, ami miatt az ember több időt szeretne tölteni a meglátogatott helyeken. A szokásos menetrend szerint érkezünk 17-18 óra között, és másnap reggel 7.15-kor indulunk. Azonban találtunk időt úszni a szálloda medencéiben. Az éjszakai vonatozás nagyon szórakoztató volt....mind a kaland része. Az ország teljes hosszának bejárásához vannak hosszabb buszozási idők, de a busz kényelmes volt, de remek alkalom volt beszélgetni az útitársakkal. Ez időt ad arra is, hogy többet lássunk az országból és megfigyeljük az embereket. Megdöbbentett minket, mennyi mindent el lehet pakolni egy robogón! A kerékpárok ideálisak voltak az útviszonyokhoz képest, tiszták és nagyon jól karbantartottak. A gyakori pihenőhelyeken rengeteg gyümölcslé, víz, gyümölcs, dió és keksz volt. A sofőr és a kerékpárszerelő nagyon barátságosak és nagyon hozzáértőek voltak. Nagyszerű szervezés, a dolgok akkor történtek, amikor Tri megígérte.
I am a little late in posting a review. We returned from this trip in early March, right when everything started to close down due to Covid-19. I can tell you that the memories of this trip have kept me going while sheltering in place. If you are thinking this might be the trip for you, please know that it is very fast paced with moving from place to place almost every night was quite challenging. The cycling itself was challenging based on ones fitness level. My husband completed every kilometer, while I did about three-quarters of the cycling. A lot of it depends on the heat, but for a female in my early 50s, I found it very doable. We had the most fabulous guide and crew. I cannot say enough of about our guide Son - he was absolutely amazing - taking care of all the details while we enjoyed ourselves. There are plenty of water/snack stops with fresh fruit and amazing snacks (ginger/nuts/cookies). They take very good care of you.

We were part of a group of 17 who quickly formed a close bond created entirely by the enthusiasm and generosity of our leader. Nothing was too much trouble Long went out of his way every day to make sure we experienced in full life in Vietnam. The trip ran like clockwork, without us feeling we were being rushed at any stage. He made it fun even when we cycled 100 k in a day taking in a very high mountain pass.
The customer service before departure was excellent, the organisation from start to finish was excellent, the accommodation was better than expected, the group leader was excellent, the itinerary was excellent. As a solo female traveller I felt completely comfortable with the rest of the group whether they were traveling alone, with friends or with partners. The mix of activities, geographical locations, sights, sounds, terrain and communities left you feeling like you had experienced and encountered Vietnam, its history, its people and its landscape.
